Product by product — what's worth it, what isn't.
Promoitalia makes 40+ products. Given what we already stock (Stylage fillers, Plinest polynucleotides, Desirial intimate, Sculptra, Hydromax skin booster), only a couple genuinely add new capability. The rest duplicate what we have. The real opportunity isn't product switching — it's the training centre and the Plinest→Nucleofill cost saving.
| Product | What It Is | Why It Adds Value | Revenue | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bacio Skinfill | Non-cross-linked HA lip booster + Vitamin B12. Hydrates, defines, improves texture/colour. NOT a volumising filler. | Different category to our existing lip fillers. Captures 3 patient segments we currently lose: filler-phobic patients who want better lips but fear "duck lips"; maintenance patients between filler top-ups; gateway patients not ready for filler. 80–85% of revenue is NET NEW, not cannibalised from existing filler income. Sits perfectly alongside Sunekos (use Sunekos for face/perioral, Bacio specifically for lips). | £10k–18k/yr new | Yes — add it |
| Plinest → Nucleofill Switch | Switch polynucleotide brand from Plinest (Mastelli, £49–60/syringe) to Nucleofill (Promoitalia, £39–54/syringe). Same category, lower cost. | Immediate cost saving on a treatment you already do. At 20 PN treatments/month, switching saves £2,400–8,400/year. No patient-facing change — both are polynucleotide injectables. Nucleofill also has dedicated Eye and Hair variants that Plinest doesn't differentiate. Note: one Plinest batch expires Oct 2026 — natural switchover point. | £2.4k–8.4k/yr saving | Yes — switch when Plinest stock runs down |
| PQ-Age Peels | TCA-based chemical peel with kojiic acid, mandelic acid, rutin. Multiple variants. | Only if we don't already offer peels. Opens an entirely new treatment category. Cost ~£11–22/treatment, charge £100–250. 30-min sessions. Exceptional margins (75%+). Easy add-on to any facial treatment. | £6k–18k/yr | Yes — if no peels currently |
| Product | What It Is | Consideration | Revenue | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assufil PDO Threads | PDO thread lifts for face/neck/body. | Only if we don't already do threads. High-ticket (£400–2,000). Growing demand. Requires specific training and additional insurance. | £12k–60k/yr | Discuss |
| V-Tech Exosomes | Synthetic exosomal structures. V-Tech for skin, ExoSignal for hair. | We already use Purasomes for exosomes. Worth switching ONLY if Promoitalia's V-Tech is cheaper or clinically better. V-Tech at ~£20/treatment — compare to current Purasomes cost per treatment to assess if there's a saving. | £2k–12k/yr | Compare to current brand |
| Pink Intimate System | Intimate area rejuvenation (lightening, tightening, hydration). 3–5 sessions. ~£13/treatment. | We already have TWO intimate solutions: Desirial/Desirial Plus (Vivacy injectable HA) AND BTL Emfemme 360 (RF device). Adding a third intimate product is unnecessary complexity. This category is fully covered. | — | No — already covered twice |
| Product | Why Not |
|---|---|
| Skinfill Plus HA Fillers | We already have a full Stylage range (Vivacy). Skinfill Plus is marginally cheaper (£33–43/ml vs Stylage at ~£40–55/ml) but the saving is small. Gemma has an established Vivacy relationship and knows the products. Switching fillers means relearning injection properties, risking different patient outcomes, and disrupting a working supplier relationship. Not worth it. |
| Skinfill Blue (skin booster) | We already have Stylage Hydromax as our skin booster. Same category, no reason to switch. |
| Pink Intimate System | We already have Desirial/Desirial Plus (Vivacy injectable) AND BTL Emfemme 360 (RF device) for intimate rejuvenation. Adding a third intimate product is unnecessary. Category fully covered. |
| Skinfill Body (liquid BBL) | Niche, controversial, risk profile too high for Derby demand. BTL Exion already covers body contouring. |
| Food supplements | Low margin, competitive market. Already stocking SkinCeuticals + SkinBetter for skincare retail. |
The specific case for adding Bacio alongside our existing lip fillers.
| Our Existing Lip Fillers | Bacio Skinfill | |
|---|---|---|
| Type | Cross-linked HA (structural filler) | Non-cross-linked HA + Vitamin B12 (booster) |
| What it does | Adds volume, reshapes, defines borders | Hydrates, improves texture, enhances colour, softens |
| Result | Visibly bigger/different lips | Same-size lips that look healthier, smoother, more youthful |
| Injection depth | Deep dermis / submucosa | Superficial dermis |
| Sessions | Usually 1 | 3–6 sessions, 2–4 weeks apart |
| Duration | ~12 months | 9–12 months |
| Patient type | "I want bigger/fuller lips" | "I want better-looking lips without looking filled" |
| Wholesale cost | £65–130/syringe | £42–52/box (2×2.5ml) |
Want better lips but terrified of "duck lips" or looking fake. Currently walk out having bought nothing. Bacio IS what they've been looking for.
Biggest segment — net new revenue
Existing filler patients at month 5–6 wanting a refresh without more volume. Turns 1x/year spenders into 2x/year.
Upsell existing patients
First-time injectable patients not ready for filler. Low-commitment entry point. Many convert to filler patients later.

This is where the serious money is.
New treatment products add £25k–60k/year. A training centre adds £29k–142k/year at 50–65% margins. With Gemma's MRCS MRCGP credentials, CQC premises, and zero Promoitalia training in the East Midlands, this is the prize.

The October 2026 licensing regime creates recurring revenue.
From October 2026, non-HCPs performing fillers/Botox need oversight from a named regulated healthcare professional. ~35 practitioners within 30 miles will need this.

Selling products to local practitioners means supplying your competitors. Thin margins, high volume needed. We treat, train, and supervise — let Promoitalia distribute.
Skinfill is cheaper but nobody Googles it. Patients trust Juvederm/Restylane/Teosyal. Keep using the fillers patients already trust.
Promoitalia makes 40+ products. We need 2 new ones (Bacio + PQ-Age) and 1 brand switch (Plinest → Nucleofill). Get comfortable. Then evaluate threads and exosomes.
